ODOO BEHAVIOR
By default, Odoo’s Point of Sale (POS) module supports the use of coupons and gift vouchers through the Pricelist or Promotion features, but it lacks a dedicated interface to configure detailed coupon settings such as Name, Product, Coupon Code, Apply Limit, Amount Type, Coupon Amount, or Maximum Amount directly within the POS.
CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR
This module introduces a Gift Coupons menu in POS to create and configure coupons with details like Name, Product, Coupon Code, Apply Limit, Amount Type, Coupon Amount, and Maximum Amount and allows applying a coupon (e.g., Coupon Amount: 50) in the POS interface by entering the coupon code when the sale total meets or exceeds the specified threshold.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE?

On POS → Gift Coupons we can set a coupon to be applied on POS, add Name, Product, Coupon Code Apply Limit, Amount Type, Coupon Amount, Maximum amount, and other information

As we set Coupon Amount: 50, so when the total of the sale is 50 or more, we can apply the coupon and enter the coupon code

It will apply the coupon -50 from the total
