ODOO'S FUNCTION
In Odoo, the function to close a sales order is only available under specific conditions. This means users cannot freely close all types of orders, which can leave incomplete or unwanted orders open in the system.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
Cluedoo enhances sales order lifecycle management by introducing:
1️⃣ 1. A 'Force Close' option, allowing authorized users to manually close orders, regardless of their delivery or invoice status.
2️⃣ An automated closing function that can be configured to close orders in bulk based on pre-set rules and conditions.
This allows users greater control and flexibility to accurately reflect the true state of their sales pipeline, easily clearing residual orders and reducing manual administrative work.
1. Activate “Close Finished Sales” on Sales Setting. |  |
2. Create a sales order > Validate the delivery order > Create an invoice. The status of the sales order will change to “Closed” once the sales order is FULLY INVOICED and Delivered. Note that if the status is “Closed”, we can still add more order lines, and it will not be “Closed” anymore. |  |
