ODOO'S FUNCTIONS
On any object within Odoo, you can add an attachment. However, you can only do it from the form view -> button attachment. If you load a document, you cannot easily attach it to an object directly from the Document app.

You can directly attach your loaded document from the Document app by selecting the related object (sales order, invoice, etc.) and then the related record.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

On a document, we have the edit icon 
.

When we click on the edit icon, it will show a wizard where we can attach the attachment to a record. Then, we can click on "Related Record" to see the record that has the attachment.

Now we have an attachment in the record.
