We are seeking a Senior Odoo Developer to lead and contribute to complex Odoo projects, with an initial focus on a major Odoo migration initiative involving multiple versions (Community & Enterprise).
The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in Python, Odoo framework architecture, and server-side administration, with a proven track record in designing scalable, high-quality ERP solutions. You will play a key role in guiding junior developers, ensuring best practices, and delivering robust, optimized systems for production environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration and upgrade of Odoo systems (e.g., v14 → v18), ensuring data integrity, performance, and minimal downtime.
- Design and develop custom Odoo modules, features, and business logic aligned with project goals.
- Analyze complex Odoo environments (custom modules, dependencies, and third-party integrations) to define migration and compatibility strategies.
- Refactor legacy code and implement solutions compatible with updated Odoo frameworks.
- Write efficient Python scripts for data migration, validation, and automation.
- Conduct comprehensive testing functional, performance, and regressionto ensure system stability.
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants, QA engineers, and DevOps to deliver seamless end-to-end Odoo solutions.
- Manage Odoo deployments on Linux, Docker, or Odoo.sh, including performance tuning, scaling, and backup management.
- Review and mentor the work of junior and medium developers, ensuring code quality, documentation, and adherence to standards.
- Provide technical guidance on Odoo best practices, architectural decisions, and migration methodologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Odoo development, with proven involvement in version migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of Odoo architecture, deployment, and performance best practices.
- Excellent English communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership.
