Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Philippine and company policies.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including data collection and variance analysis.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
- Monitor cash flow, assist with working capital management, and identify basic financial risks.
- Contribute to the implementation and improvement of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with tax filings (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax) and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
- Manage end-to-end HR payroll processing, including computation of salaries, overtime, allowances, and government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Handle individual tax withholding (BIR Form 2316), prepare and file monthly and annual withholding tax returns, and ensure compliance with BIR regulations.
- Maintain employee payroll records, track leaves, absences, and 13th-month pay calculations.
- Provide financial data and support to business units for cost control and planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years in financial controlling, accounting, or audit roles.
- Languages: Fluent in English; French is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Philippine Payroll
- Software Knowledge: Experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, good communication and teamwork skills.
