ODOO'S FUNCTION
In Odoo, when creating an alternative Purchase Order (PO) from an existing one, product descriptions and analytic distributions on Purchase Order Lines are not automatically transferred. As a result, users must manually re-enter this information, which is time-consuming and error-prone.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
Cluedoo enhances the process by introducing:
1️⃣ Automatic transfer of product descriptions and analytic distributions from Purchase Order Lines when creating alternative POs.
2️⃣ Ensuring data consistency and saving time by eliminating manual data entry for repeated information.
This allows users to quickly generate accurate alternative POs without missing important details.
1. Create a Purchase Order > Add product(s), Analytic Distribution, and Description. |  |
Note: From v18, we don't have a separate field Description anymore, and we will add the description under the product(s) in SOL |  |
2. Under the tab Alternatives, click Create Alternative and select a Vendor > Create Alternative |   |
3. The Description and the Analytic Distribution will be transferred to the Alternative(s) |  |
