ODOO'S FUNCTION
Odoo allows users to group records by specific dates (Day), Months, or Years. However, it does not natively support grouping records generically by the "Day of the Week" (e.g., aggregating all Mondays together). This limits the ability to analyze trends based on weekdays across different months or years.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
Cluedoo enhances the search and grouping capabilities by introducing a generic "Day of the Week" grouping option for any date/datetime field.
This allows users to group all same weekdays together regardless of the specific week, month, or year, providing a powerful way to analyze weekly patterns without needing to create custom fields.
1. In Search Bar, find any date or datetime field in the list (e.g., Invoice Date, Due Date) Click on it (or click the arrow next to it) to expand the options Then choose Day Of Week |   |
The records will be grouped by weekday (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) based on the date field you selected. |  |
