ODOO'S FUNCTION
On Manufacturing Order, Odoo has Component Status field to show the availability of components. This feature is handy and already adequate, if there is no transportation of component from storage to production location.
However, for the warehouses that require picking component from storage to production location, supervisors need to check if the components are delivered to the production location or not. Odoo does not have a field for this tracking purpose.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
Cluedoo adds additional field named "Picking Status" considering status of all required components on Manufacturing order.
The status is divided stages, which are: Waiting, Ready, Partially delivered, Done.
Go to Inventory-Configuration-Warehouses > configure your manufacturing route > choose 1/2/3 steps route On Manufacturing order, the "Picking status" will be updated following the transfer(s) status :

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE?
On Manufacturing order, the "Picking status" is updated according to transfer to pre-production location:
- Waiting: The transfer is waiting for the availability of some products. Quantity of reserved products < total quantity of required products for production.
- Ready: The transfer is ready to be processed. All products have been reserved.
- Partially delivered: One or some transfers have been done.
- Done: All transfers to pre-production location have been done.
In this demonstrated case here, if the product is available the status in the field "Picking status" is "Ready".
Note:
User can configure warehouse to have picking to production location or not by: Inventory/Configuration/Warehouses.
