ODOO'S FUNCTION
In Odoo standard, users can validate a transfer even when the delivered quantity is greater than the requested demand. This flexibility can make it difficult to control the relationship between the ordered quantity and the shipped quantity, especially when companies need strict quantity control in their logistics process.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
CLuedoo enhances the standard transfer validation process by introducing a quantity control rule on the operation types. When the transfered quantity excees the demand quantity, the system blocks the transfer validation.
This helps companies prevent over-delivery, maintain better shipment control, and ensure that stock operations follow the intended demand exactly.
CONFIGURATION Go to Inventory > Configuration > Operation Types > On Operation Type form view (i,e Receipts), there is "Qty Validation Policy". Choose Block Excess Quantity. |  |
USAGE Go to Inventory > Receipts > Create a new reception > Fill in the Demand and Quantity columns > Validate > Since the demand is less than the quantity, a pop up wizard will appear showing the exceeded product lines. |   |
