ODOO BEHAVIOR
Odoo prevents duplicate use of a serial number across different operations, but does not block adding the same serial number multiple times within the same stock operation at the line creation stage. This can lead to confusion before validation.
CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR
Cluedoo immediately blocks the creation of duplicate stock move lines with the same serial number in a single operation. This ensures clean data entry by preventing users from adding the same serial number more than once during the operation setup.
CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATION
Install on 100% of the database.
HOW TO USE THIS MODULE
1.
Create a transfer for example Receipt with product tracked by serial number.
2.
In the detailed operations, add the serial number and use the same serial number more than once. When we click on save in the detailed operations, we will get a warning, "You already add this SN".
