Cluedoo proposes an IBAN format in order to have a readable IBAN in view mode, but only put letters and figures in editable mode.

It's called an IBAN Format because bank account formatting is standardized in Europe via IBAN, but it's simply a bank account number format, so it can be used worldwide.
