ODOO'S FUNCTION

In Odoo Standard, invoicing policy (ordered vs. delivered) is tied to how delivery is tracked, so only limited combinations are possible. This restriction prevents scenarios like invoicing on ordered quantities while tracking by timesheet or milestone.

CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION

With CLuedoo, invoicing and delivery tracking are independent. You can invoice on ordered or delivered quantities while freely choosing how to track delivery: through timesheets, milestones, or manual entry, which gives far more flexibility than standard Odoo.

1.

Choose an existing service product or create new service product > you can see that we have the possibility to combine Invoicing Policy with Service Invoicing Policy

2.

Create a new Sales Order > Confirm
We can edit delivered columns for this combination invoicing policy and service invoicing policy.

  • Ordered quantities x Based on Timesheet
  • Ordered quantities x Based on Milestone
  • Ordered quantities x Based on Delivered Quantity

From V18, only this combination is valid:
  • Ordered quantities x Based on Delivered Quantity

ODOO'S FUNCTION

In Odoo, the write-off entry pop-up during reconciliation does not include an Analytic Distribution field. As a result, any adjustments posted through this wizard cannot be analytically tracked unless they are manually edited afterward. This creates a drawback for companies that rely on accurate cost allocation across analytic accounts.

CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION

Cluedoo enhances the standard reconciliation process by introducing:

1️⃣ An Analytic Distribution field in the write-off entry pop-up during reconciliation

2️⃣ Automatic inheritance of the analytic distribution in the resulting journal entry

This allows users to assign analytic values at the time of adjustment, ensuring accurate and consistent analytic tracking without the need for manual corrections.
