ODOO'S FUNCTION

Odoo provides functionality to centralize documents from applications like Project, HR, and Accounting into its Documents app. However, this native synchronization does not apply to documents attached to Inventory Transfers, leaving logistics-related files isolated within individual transfer records.


CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION

Cluedoo enhances document management for inventory operations by introducing:

1️⃣ Direct synchronization of all documents and attachments from Inventory Transfer records to the central Documents app.

2️⃣ Automatic and structured filing of these logistics-related documents for easy access.

This allows users to consolidate and fully manage all their operational documents in one single place, improving accessibility for warehouse and logistics teams.


1. Go to Settings > Choose Documents on navigation panel tab on the left side - Scroll down to File Centralisation > Checkbox Transfer > Choose Workspace and Operation Type > Save

Note: Operation Type here is the default operation type when creating a new transfer directly from the Documents app

2. Go to a transfer > Upload an attachment in its log note 

3. Go to the Documents app > Choose the Workspace that you set up before > The attachment is synchronized to the workspace

File removal is also synchronized. 

4. Upload a new attachment directly in the Documents app > Select it > Actions > Create a Transfer

It will automatically create a transfer with the file attached and the same Operation Type that you set before

From v18, you will need to choose Actions on Select > Create a Transfer > Choose the attachment that you want to add to a new transfer > Click Create a Transfer smart button
