STORY BEHIND THE FEATURE

ODOO'S FUNCTIONS

In Purchase order -> Blanket Order, Odoo only displays the ordered quantity in the blanket order line. 

CLUEDOO'S FUNCTIONS

Cluedoo adds 2 more columns on the purchase order line:

Received: delivered quantity.

Billed: invoiced quantity.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

User story:

From time to time, we need to check the actual received / billed quantity of blanket orders.

There is a way to get this information at a glance.

 

Step 1:

(If you already know how to create a blanket order, please skip to step 4)

On the Purchase app, go to:

  1. Orders
  2. Blanket Orders
  3. NEW


Step 2:

  1. Create a new Blanket Order:
    1. Fill in the required fields.
    2. Fill in the quantity & unit price.
    3. Save.
  2. Then you can request a quotation by clicking on "New Quotation".


Step 3:

  1. Create a new Purchase Order:
    1. Fill in the required fields.
    2. Fill in the quantity * unit price.
    3. Save.
    4. Click on "Confirm Order".


Step 4:

  1. Now you have your new Purchase Order. You can see the two new columns:
    1. Received: 0.00
    2. Billed: 0.00
  2. From now, as the products are received and invoiced, this menu will also update accordingly.
    1. You can click on "Receive Products" to update the delivered quantity.
    2. You can click on "Create Bill" to make an invoice for this order.


Result:

  • The image below shows 5 products were received and invoiced.
  • There is no need to go into other menus to get this information.
