ODOO'S FUNCTION
In default Odoo, delivery conditions are managed separately with no direct link. Payment terms define the payment timeline (e.g., Net 30), while delivery instructions are typically entered manually or selected from a list, leading to inconsistencies and errors. Delivery instructions do not automatically reflect.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
This Cluedoo function will let you choose Delivery term for SO/PO and get value of customer.
Go to Contacts > Choose a contact > Move to tab Sales & Purchase > Choose a Delivery Term for this contact |  |
FOR SALES ORDERSCreate a Sales Order > the Delivery Term will get its value from the Delivery Address |  |
FOR PURCHASE ORDERSCreate a Purchase Order > The Delivery Term will get its value from the Vendor ( = Delivery Address) |  |
FOR DROPSHIP PRODUCTSCreate a Sales Order with a drop shipping product > Confirm > Click on the Purchase smart button > The Delivery Term will get its value from the original SO ( = Dropship Address, and not the Delivery Address in the PO) |   |
