ODOO'S FUNCTION
In Odoo, a quotation is treated as a single document. While its status is tracked, there is no native feature for versioning. This means when a quotation is modified, the previous version is overwritten, making it difficult to track changes or refer back to earlier proposals sent to the customer.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
Cluedoo enhances the quotation management process by introducing:
1️⃣ A complete versioning system to create and track all iterations of a quotation.
2️⃣ The ability to easily view the history of all versions and revert to a previous one without having to recreate it manually.
This allows users to maintain a clear history of negotiations, prevent miscommunication, and ensure the correct version of the quotation is confirmed by the customer.
1. Create a quotation, send it by email. After sending the quotation, the button Revise Quotation will be shown. Click that button |  |
2. After clicking Revise Quotation, it records the revised quotation |  |
3. The revised quotation has additional sequence for version (v1) and the status is archived |   |
