ODOO'S FUNCTION
In Odoo, there is no dedicated Sales Order Title field, which means users cannot set a title for their sales orders to organize or clarify the order purpose. Additionally, product descriptions on Sales Order lines are limited to plain text, with no option to use a detailed description in HTML format for better formatting or visual presentation.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
Cluedoo introduces a Sales Order Title field, allowing users to set clear, customizable titles for their sales orders. It also enables the use of a Detailed Description in HTML format for products in Sales Order lines, offering improved readability and formatting. Additionally, when products with "MTO" and "Buy" routes generate a Purchase Order, Cluedoo ensures the Sales Order title and detailed description are seamlessly transferred to the Purchase Order, maintaining consistency across documents.
1. Go to Settings > Purchase Title, you will have 2 options: Multiline Text and HTML Detailed Description Note: since v18, you only have HTML Detailed Description, Multiline Text is already ODS |  |
Go to Products > Inventory > Make sure the product has Routes Buy and MTO |  |
2. Go to Sales > Orders > Quotations > New > Add title and other necessary information, add product(s) and the Detailed Description > Confirm |   |
HTML formatting allows for rich text features like bold, italics, bullet points, and links. |  |
3. A Purchase Order will be created from the Sales Order > The Title and the Detailed Description have been transferred from the Sales Order |    |
