Odoo proposes a very simple generic Chart of Accounts, which is mainly used for testing.

You have access to a full generic Chart of Accounts, which is easy to read by most accountants and accurate both with the European CoA (high level of details) and the Anglo-Saxon CoA (EBITDA approach of the structure).

This Chart of Accounts Library module is based on our 10 years of experience of outsourcing CFO duties for international multi-companies.
CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATION
- Installation: If you do not have a statutory and mandatory CoA for your company to prepare for consolidation, Cluedoo recommends to use this CoA.
- Recommendation / Best practice: This CoA is also convenient to use on the holding company in order to define the consolidated ledger account and prepare the consolidation. As it's a mix between French and US approaches, it will simplify the matching of local CoAs.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE

Install Cluedoo IFRS CoA under Settings.

On Accounting → Configuration → Chart of Accounts, we can see the list of generic CoA templates.

On Accounting → Configuration → Taxes, we have a list of generic Chart of Tax templates.
