In Odoo standard, when selecting a journal in the payroll structure, the system displays all accounting journals, not just those related to payroll. This can lead to mistakes in selecting the appropriate journal.

CLUEDOO BEHAVIOUR

Cluedoo restricts the journal selection field in the payroll structure so that it shows only journals of type 'Payroll'. This ensures clearer setup and reduces the chance of selecting the wrong journal during payroll configuration.

Install on 100% of the database.

PAYROLL JOURNAL

On Payroll → Configuration, we have Payroll Journals menu. We can create a journal with miscellaneous type then check it as Payroll Journal

On salary structure, when we select salary journal, it will only show the payroll journal
