ODOO'S FUNCTION
In Odoo, when using another language (e.g., French), you must open the translation popup to view or edit the product’s name in the main language, which is not directly visible on the product form.
CLUEDOO'S FUNCTION
CLuedoo adds a Product Main Language option that displays the product’s main-language name directly on the product form, keeps it editable and synced with the translation wizard, and allows searching and filtering using this main-language name.
1. Go to Settings > We have the option to choose a main language in the Product Main Language field. e.g., Here I choose French as the main language |  |
2. Select a product > You will see the product's name in the main language directly on the product form, without clicking the translation icon. |  |
3. This name field is editable and it syncs with the translation wizard. |  |
4. Searching and filtering by the main-language name is supported. |   |
