ODOO BEHAVIOR
In Odoo, when a Sales Order (SO) has an Analytic Account assigned at the SO level, but different Analytic Distributions are defined at the Sales Order Line level, this discrepancy leads to an issue when generating an invoice. Upon invoice creation, Odoo propagates both the Sales Order’s Analytic Account and the Analytic Distributions from the Sales Order Lines to the Invoice Lines, resulting in a duplicated allocation - effectively creating a 200% Analytic Distribution in the Invoice Lines.
CLUEDOO BEHAVIOR
Cluedoo introduces a feature that ensures consistency in analytic account propagation. With this feature:
- The Analytic Account from the Sales Order is automatically assigned to all Sales Order Lines
- Odoo’s default behavior of propagating both the Sales Order’s Analytic Account and the Sales Order Lines' Analytic Distributions to the Invoice Lines is locked, preventing duplication.
As a result, invoices generated from Sales Orders will maintain accurate and balanced Analytic Distributions, avoiding the 200% allocation issue.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE
1. Create a Sales Order > Add product(s) > Under Other Info tab, fill in the Analytic Account for this SO > Confirm Note: Analytic Account for Sales Order no longer exists from Odoo 18 |

2. The Analytic Account will automatically be propagated to Analytic Distribution in Sales Order Lines |

3. Change the Analytic Distribution if needed > Create Invoice |

4. On Invoice Lines, the Analytic Distribution has been inherited from the Sales Order Lines |
